Press the hotkey (or whatever you assign for this macro, hotkey suggested), and a slider will pop up allowing you to select your falloff. Max value is half of the object’s size (half the average of the bounding box’s three axes), min is zero. Going down to 0 will turn off soft selection. Works only on Editable Poly.
