Book done, back to blogging

This morning, I send in my final-est drafts for my book, Practical Maya Programming with Python. This is actually the second time it’s gone to production. The editing process has been, uh, challenging, which resulted in several months of delays.

I’ll post with more information when it’s for sale, but you can pre-order it now!

Anyway, now that the book is out of the way, I can get back to blogging more regularly.

Hi Rob, Congrats on the completion on the Book. I’ve already pre-ordered it. Can you give me an idea on what date might be the approx release ? The packt website gave an ETA of 26th may but I haven’t received any updates. Waiting for their reply to my email.

Just excited to get the book in my hands soon. :)

    1. Hi Harshad, it should be out in early June. It is in production and up to the publisher right now.

Hey Rob, I’ve just received an email saying that the book isn’t going to be published until the first week of August. Is this correct?

    1. I hope that’s a mistake. Will find out and get back to you.

I’ve also had this mail lately having pre-ordered in March, I’m confident it’ll be worth the wait but Packt have been a bit poor answering questions about the delay.

Any chance you’d be able to post a table of contents for us to look over? :)

    1. Hi James, as soon as I know the status of things I’ll post some about the book’s contents and purpose.

Hey Rob, I don’t mean to bother you but has there been any update on the release of your book?
